What is Hockey Coaching?
This course is based on sound principles of coaching science. Students will be provided with the basic learning requirements to study coaching at beginner and intermediate level. It also provides knowledge and skills in the practical application of that learning.
Why should I study Coach the game of hockey?
This the game of hockey course will enable you to add a valuable qualification to your current competencies. If you coach a hockey team or would like to become a coach, you can add this course to your skills set. Course Structure
In order to complete the Coach the game of hockey, students must complete all of the following subjects:

Skills of the sport, game plans and tactical plans

Planning, implementing and teaching practice sessions

Coaching players at a competitive event

Evaluating the effectiveness of the coaching experience

Assessment and Award
Once you have successfully completed the necessary assignments prescribed by eta, you will be awarded with an eta Coach the game of hockey certificate.
