The College SA School of Counselling Studies is a very new addition to the College SA list of programmes. What exactly is the College SA School of Counselling Studies?

 

At present, College SA offers one Short Course Certificate course in our School of Counselling Studies, namely, Trauma Support and Counselling. We are busy making all the arrangements so that we can have a wider selection of counselling courses to choose from in the School of Counselling Studies. We promise to let you know as soon as more of the new counselling courses are available.!

This short course, Trauma Support and Counselling, is offered in conjunction with one of our academic partners - Strategic Investigations and Seminars (SIS). Strategic Investigations and Seminars has been one of our academic partners for quite some time, and College SA offers several full qualification courses, as well as short certificate courses, in conjunction with them:

More about Trauma Support and Counselling

 

When you register for the Trauma Support and Counselling short course, you will be registering for a counselling course that you can complete in under a year. In this course, you will cover the following modules:

 

  • Report Writing (Two modules)

  • The Impact of Traumatic Events (Two modules)

  • Trauma Intervention Methods (Two Modules)

  • Care for the Caretakers (One Module)

  • First Aid Concepts (One Module)
